| Twelve people were arrested during the Highway Patrol`s alcohol enforcement saturation last weekend in the New Town area. Four people were arrested for driving under the influence and two others were taken into custody for unlawful consumption of alcohol. Four individuals were arrested for other charges, including resisting arrest, assaulting a peace officer, and for possessing and consuming a controlled substance. Despite the multiple arrests, the good news is that there were no alcohol related crashes in Mountrail County over the weekend. |
