Fatal Accident Near Surrey

| The Ward County Sheriff`s Department is investigating a fatal accident Monday morning on 97th Street Northeast near Surrey. The driver was a 17 year old female from Surrey. Authorities say she lost control and drove off the roadway. The vehicle overturned and the driver was ejected. It happened about 8:30 a.m. Her identity is being withheld until family members can be notified. |
