| NDSU Considers Smoking Ban |

| North Dakota State University is considering a campus-wide smoking ban. The idea got support from the NDSU Staff Senate last week, on a 35-23 vote. Staff Senate President Vance Olson says the results are in line with earlier polls of students and faculty members. NDSU`s current policy allows smoking 50 feet away from buildings. If the University Senate approves a campus-wide ban, the proposal will be sent to the president`s office. |
