For hunters lucky enough to draw a tag, tomorrow is the big day.
Deer season kicks-off at noon, and despite a harsh winter last year, you can still find game if you look in the right places.
District Game Warden Cory Detloff says there are several good locations right here in the northwest.
"I`ve been seeing a lot of deer all around the areas, you know from Trenton up to the Crosby area, up to Ambrose," Detloff says. "And Wildrose over to Stanley, there`s deer throughout the whole region. It depends on where the hunters are going. Their skills and tactics. That`s what their success is going to depend on."
If you need extra help planning your hunting trip, the Game and Fish Department has several resources online, including maps and a series of deer hunting guides.
