| A fatal accident happened at 8:45 Saturday night, four miles south of Menoken. A sport utility vehicle was eastbound on Lincoln Road when the driver lost control and the vehicle began to yaw clockwise and overturn as it entered the south ditch. The vehicle then became airborne, struck two large trees and came to rest on the passenger side, facing east. Police say two juvenile girls were ejected from the vehicle, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene. Four juvenile girls were transported to St. Alexius Medical Center. The accident is still under investigation. |
