| Man Arrested in Infant Death |

| A man has been arrested on suspicion of child abuse or neglect in the death of a 2-month-old in Fargo. Forty-six-year-old Arthur Mark Berger, a transient, was being held Saturday at the Cass County jail. Fargo police say the baby was not breathing when found in 13-hundred block of First Avenue North about 2 a-m Saturday. The child was later pronounced dead by the Cass County coroner. The child`s name or cause of death have not been released. Police say Berger knew the child`s family but was not a relative. |
