| Hope Business Suffers Fire Damage |

| Authorities are investigating the cause of a business fire in the east central North Dakota town of Hope. Steele County Sheriff Wayne Beckman says two men traveling through town about 8:30 p.m. Monday noticed the fire at the Cenex Station store and alerted patrons at a nearby bar, who along with firefighters extinguished the blaze with a fire extinguisher. Firefighter and store manager Alan Gunkel says damage was confined to the front office area. No one was hurt. |
