The town of Harvey is home to two entrepreneurs who saw their dreams came true today.
Back in 2003, Eric and Grayson Hoberg started Dakota Prairie and Organic Flour Company. They began in a 4000 square foot building. Now they have moved into a building that is 40,000 square feet. The business has 26 employees, produce 185 million pounds of flour a year and bring in over 8 million dollars in revenue.
Governor Hoeven says it just goes to show that agriculture continues to grow in our state.
"When we think about North Dakota, this stuff doesn`t just happen. It happens over time, because we have a good commitment to building, growing, and diversifying our business base," says Gov. John Hoeven
Dakota Prairie Organic Flour Company says it hopes to hire 10 more employees by the end of the year.
