| The Grand Forks County Sheriff`s Department is investigating what appears to be a pipe bomb found in a field about two miles southwest of the city. The sheriff`s office says a nearby resident reported it Wednesday afternoon. Authorities say they found a metal pipe with both end caps attached, and what appeared to be gunpowder inside. The regional bomb squad disabled it. |
