| North Dakota doesn`t often receive national attention, but recently our state has been recognized as having one of the best economies in the country Monday, Representative Earl Pomeroy met with city officials in Minot, to discuss the state of Minot`s economy. Pomeroy says he holds these meetings to see what jobs can be created in the Magic City. He says adding jobs is the key challenge in economic recovery for the nation. "We have the best economy. We have the lowest rates of foreclosures. We didn`t have any funny banking lending. We took the slow and steady approach and that worked very well," says Pomeroy. Pomeroy says the discovery of oil in North Dakota has played a big part in our economic success. |
