| The University of Mary is continuing their 50th anniversary celebration. Saturday people had the chance to celebrate at the October Arts Festival. The event was free and people had the chance to tour the campus, dance, have their faces painted, and a readers theater. "The University of Mary has been celebrating its 50th anniversary for the past year, we kicked off November 17th, 2008, and this is one of our concluding events, and we`ll be having a closing ceremony November 19th this year," says Wendy Schweitzer. The theme of Saturday`s celebration was `Reaching Outward, Leading Forward.` |
