Authorities say a man has been charged in a hit-and-run case that injured a Fargo woman riding her bike late last month.
Cass County officials say Troy Greenlund, 39, of Harwood is charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving serious personal injury. Assistant State`s Attorney Mark Boening said the felony charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
Greenlund could not be reached for comment. Authorities said he cooperated in the investigation and will remain free pending his court appearances.
Jennifer Walla was treated for a concussion and a twisted ankle. Walla, 28, said she had been contacted by Greenlund`s insurance company with an offer to pay her medical bills.
State court records show Greenlund pleaded guilty in late July to a charge of drunken driving while accompanied by a minor. |
