Country-western superstar Toby Keith made a big impression on the small southwestern North Dakota town of Rhame.
Keith stopped in the town of fewer than 200 residents Tuesday with a group of motorcyclists on a ride that originated at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in western South Dakota. Keith had performed there the night before.
The owner of the Waterhole Bar says when Keith was recognized word spread quickly, with some rural residents even scrambling to get into town to see the singer.
Keith also ambled over to the local grocery store. Owner Lori Eagon says she made the star a bologna sandwich - free of charge. |
