6/30/2009
The Obama administration says community health centers in North Dakota will share nearly $2 million in federal stimulus grants to help improve access to health care.

North Dakota`s congressional delegation says the Coal Country Community Health Center in Beulah will receive $453,800. The Family Healthcare Center in Fargo will receive $686,660, the Northland Health Partners Community Health Center in Turtle Lake nearly $324,000 and Valley Community Health Centers in Northwood will receive nearly $443,000.

The money is the state`s share of $850 million in stimulus grants awarded to help clinics across the country.

First Lady Michelle Obama announced the grants Monday during a visit to a community health center in Washington.
