McHenry Co Business Helped by Magic Fund | Video
5/22/2009
The economy in North Dakota continues to boom as many towns flourish with new businesses.

McHenry county is joining that trend as they will have a new ag facility opening up this summer.

This morning, The Minot Magic Fund Committee granted Simcoe Grain Processors 19 thousand 500 dollars to get their business up and running.

The pea and lentil processing facility will fill new jobs immediately.

Representatives from the company say, this new facility will bring more people to the area and help the area economy continue to grow.

"This is a great move for Granville. With this money we will be able to start up this facility soon. It will bring more job and more people to the area," says Maria Effertzhanson, McHenry County Jobs Development Authority.

The facility hopes to hire a manager by the end of this month.
