| Students Celebrate School`s 50th Anniversary |

| A Bismarck elementary school is celebrating a milestone this week. It`s the 50th anniversary of Highland Acres, and a pep rally got the students excited today. All week, the school has been holding special events. Teachers say one reason the school has been around for so long is because of strong traditions and a closely knit school family. "Making it for 50 years is just a great thing. We have great staff that has been at the school before, the principal, the administration, so I think it marks a great success for our education program," says Kris Ehrmantraut, of Highland Acres. The school is holding a big party this weekend for families, staff, and alumni. |
