| The city of Washburn has issued a mandatory order for residents to boil all drinking water. Residents should boil water for a minimum of three minutes before drinking. This is a precautionary measure due to high turbidity levels exceeding the allowable level of 1.0, stemming from recent storm events. Water samples will continue to be analyzed by City Water Division staff to determine when the “boil order” can be lifted, residents will be notified at that time. |
