| Bismarck State College Theatre is proud to present THE MOVIE GAME, a riotous romantic comedy, as the next show of its 2012-2013 academic season. Starring a variety of BSC students and supporters including Charles Ward, Derek Harper and Dakota Stein, and directed by Dakota Stage Executive Director, Amber Rae Bernhardt, this playful piece is certain to be a hilarious hit! Jack Goldberg, an unemployed cinephile, has found himself in the midst of a pre-midlife crisis. In an attempt to dig out of his rut, he enlists the help of a psychotic psychiatrist, Dr. Seuz, who begins Jack on a bizarre journey as the star of his own real life romantic comedy. Combined with Jack’s far-from-normal family, an overly-dramatic director and a classic love triangle/identity crisis, this major motion picture soon turns into a major mess. Through a script that combines humor and heart, laughter and love, the audience is treated to a romantic comedy for the stage that tips its hat to pop culture and pays homage to such classic films as The Philadelphia Story, Annie Hall, and When Harry Met Sally. Bismarck State College Theatre will hold its run of THE MOVE GAME in the Sidney J. Lee Auditorium at 1500 Edwards Ave. in Bismarck. Performances are at 7:30pm on Wednesday through Saturday and at 2:30pm on Sunday from December 5th through the 9th. Tickets are $10 for adults and $3 for BSC students. Reservations can be made by calling 701-224-5511 and seats can also be purchased at the door before each show. |
