| Join us at the 2012 Bismarck-Mandan CROP WALK for Hunger on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. at the North Dakota Capitol steps. Registration, games and activities for all ages begins at 12:30 p.m. The walk will begin at 1:30 p.m. ALL are welcome to walk with us! Many people must walk daily to seek food, shelter and safe water. “We walk because they walk.” CROP means “Communities Respond to Overcome Poverty.” We walk to educate, exercise, advocate and seek justice. Hunger lives right in our backyard. The CROPWALK provides support for local agencies as 25% of funds raised are shared with the Abused Adult Resource Center, AID Inc., the Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry and Ruth Meiers Hospitality House. We walk to end hunger, one step at a time. |
