| The Apple Dash Run/Walk 4 Education will be held Sunday, September 9, 2012 with events beginning at 2:00 pm. The ˝ mile will be at 2:00, 1 mile at 2:15 and the 5k run/walk at 2:30 pm. The ˝ mile and 1 mile will take place on Hughes fields and the 5 K will utilize the Tom O’Leary trail. Apple Dash is a Family-Fitness-Fun event that raises money for teacher mini-grants and needy students. NEW – this year APPLE QUEST ˝ mile and 1 mile obstacle course. BHS art club will be doing face painting, there will be live music, carnival games, inflatable’s, national guard helicopter, magic with Bill Sorenson, door prizes, and food. CHS cross-country teams will be along the course and at the finish line to assist and encourage participants. Early bird registration fees by August 29th are $15/person or $40/family.
