MATT OLSEN
Photographer
I am a Bismarck native and graduated from Bismarck High School in 2003, after taking several art and media classes. I worked for Community Access Television for more than three years. Working there, I developed a love for the lens and was exposed to various roles of video production.
I regularly play the part of Bismarck's forestry mascot, Forest von Flickentale. In my spare time, I am an artist, environmentalist, and I am always busy with music and photography. My heroes are Stanley Kubrick, Orson Welles, and Frank Zappa and my dream is to go into filmmaking. Photo journalism is a fast paced and exciting field that not only teaches me a lot about every subject, it also helps me improve as a photographer. |
